Chiang Mai DESTINATIONS Thailand

Thailand, Wat Palaad temple in Chiang Mai

After the hike into the jungle and hunting waterfalls, we stayed in the nature, which is so comforting. It is now the beginning of rainy season here, and contrary to what people mostly think, it is not heavy rain all day long and every day, landscapes are deep bright green and the fresh air feels good, I love the rain !

Wat Palaad temple in not well known from the tourists I think, but it’s wonderful. In the mountains around Chiang Mai, it is surrounded by forest, with a small waterfall and a natural pool with a great view on the city, stunning.

I am definitely not done with temples, as by the time I am writing this article, I already did a meditation retreat in another temple of Chiang Mai. Amazing experience I have to say, I will tell you about it soon, just after having got back to normal life, because 3 days with the monks sounds short, but trust me it was something !
