Paris is a city where you can spend your day walking from a street to another and from an atmosphere to another, sometimes you just have to cross a bridge or a street to be in a different world. So I spend a few hours walking in the center of Paris, from the Hôtel de Ville to Notre Dame de Paris church, and Paris Plage.
Around the rue de Bretagne
Later that day, I wanted to go get lunch to the famous Enfant Rouges market, rue de Bretagne in the 3rd borough, but unfortunately it was almost all closed, no customers and no shops open. I walked around the empty alleys and I left. I went there 4 or 5 years ago and it was an amazing place, with delicious street-food with local products, like the crepes with cheese and mushrooms from Alain’s shop, al natural, all local products, I waited almost 1hour before getting served but it was worth it !
Macaroons at the corner of the street !
I found comfort on the way back, on my way to Beaubourg, where I found a Pierre Hermé’s shop with macaroons. I bought a small bag of macaroons and my favorite was the summer special with yogurt and lime, fresh and yummy !
Have you tried Pierre Hermé’s macaroons ? What flavour is your favorite
